Adopt a Rescue

Give a rescued animal a real chance at a home

We help rescued dogs and cats in Los Cabos find safe, loving homes by connecting them with the right people.

We work closely with members of our community who rescue and foster animals, supporting them through visibility, care, and adoption.

How it Works

  • Animals are rescued and fostered by staff and local volunteers

  • We support their care and share their stories

  • We host adoption events where you can meet them

Our role is simple: help each animal find the right home.

Adoption Events

Every other Tuesday · 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Just come, meet the rescues, and take your time.

Flights for Furry Friends

Aero, a semi-private jet service, is now supporting our local rescue program by providing safe and smooth escorted travel from Los Cabos to Los Angeles for rescued cats and dogs that have found their forever-loving homes in the US.

  • Complimentary transport for adopted pets

  • $400 USD flight credit for adopters

Come meet the rescues.
You might find the one.

  • We are not a rescue organization and do not operate a shelter.

Instead, we support independent animal rescuers within our community—especially our staff—who foster animals in their homes.

We use our space, network, and platforms to help these animals get visibility and find homes faster.

  • Before adoption, animals receive:

    • Spay/neuter (for adult rescues)

    • Vaccinations (rabies + core vaccines)

    • Deworming

    • Basic veterinary care

All animals are fostered by trusted staff members and volunteers until adoption.

    • Dogs: $350 USD

    • Cats: $300 USD

These fees help cover medical care, food, and basic needs, and allow the program to continue helping more animals.

  • Rescues can travel to the U.S. or Canada through:

    • Commercial airlines (American, United, Alaska)

    • Cargo travel for larger pets

    • Semi-private flights like Aero (recommended for comfort)

    General requirements:

    • Minimum age (usually 8+ weeks)

    • Rabies vaccination (at least 1 month prior)

    • Health documentation

We recommend checking airline-specific requirements before traveling.

  • Through our partnership with Aero, rescued pets can travel from Los Cabos to Los Angeles in a more controlled, low-stress environment.

    Benefits include:

    • Private terminal access (no crowds or long lines)

    • Faster check-in process

    • Assistance with customs and documentation

    • More comfortable in-flight experience

Flora Farms covers the cost of transporting the adopted pet.
Adopters also receive a $400 USD credit for future Aero flights.

  • We remain available to support you after adoption.

If the adoption doesn’t work out, we ask that you contact us first so we can help ensure the animal’s safety and find the best next step.

    • Be patient—rescues need time to adjust

    • Prepare a safe space at home

    • Have essentials ready (bed, toys, food)

    • Introduce other pets gradually

A calm transition makes a big difference.

  • To ensure a safe environment:

    • We recommend not bringing your pets to events

    • We can arrange a separate meet & greet if needed

This helps avoid stress and allows rescues to be the focus.

  • If you’re not ready to adopt:

    Foster
Provide temporary care (2+ weeks preferred)

    Flight Escort
Help accompany rescues to their new homes abroad
